Join a like-minded team of audiologists
We are on the lookout for great audiology professionals to join our enthusiastic, friendly team. We’d love to hear from you if you’re a New Zealand graduate; a local audiologist searching for an inspiring job; or qualified with a master’s degree in audiology or equivalent but working overseas and keen to live in a great region of New Zealand!
Audiology South is a fantastic company for your audiology career. We value staff welfare and inclusion. We provide opportunities to advance special interests in audiology or contribute to our organisational direction and management. We listen to your ideas!
We value your professional development. All NZAS membership costs, CEP requirements, and annual attendance at the NZAS conference are standard in our employment agreements. And every three years you have the option to swap the NZAS conference for an overseas conference.
Kick start programme for grads
Audiology South is a supportive workplace for new audiology graduates. Our team of experienced clinicians provide supervision and mentoring so you can progress quickly through your CCC year. Our first-rate facilities and equipment allow you to practice at the highest level, and we offer fantastic opportunities to further your education while you work. When you attain full NZAS membership status you’ll be offered the chance to attend the AAA conference in the US.
Applying from overseas
To work as an audiologist in New Zealand you must have a Master’s degree with parity to local qualifications: North American, Australian, and United Kingdom degrees qualify automatically. For others, you may need to have your qualification assessed for equivalency. For more information visit the New Zealand Audiological Society website.
You will also need to follow the usual steps for migrating workers. Visit Immigration New Zealand for more information.
