Winton hearing clinic opens its doors
Good news Winton residents. You no longer have to travel to Invercargill for hearing care services. On 16 October, we opened the doors of our new, conveniently located hearing clinic at 235 Great North Road, Winton (right inbetween Lodge Electrical and Adagio Café).
We’ve been visiting Winton for years, and as more and more Winton residents have chosen us for their audiology needs it now feels right to establish ourselves in the heart of town. Some clients find it a hassle getting into Invercargill so it’s nice to be able to support them closer to home.
We love to treat all our clients as family, hence our hearing clinic design is like walking into someone’s home. Dropping in for a catch up and a cuppa is actively encouraged here! We will see you soon, and feel free to invite your friends and family to come check us out.
Audiology South prides itself on hearing excellence using the very latest in diagnostic and hearing aid technology from around the world. Our Winton team has a wealth of experience and knowledge. We cater for adults, and children from 3.5 years old, and provide hearing tests, hearing aid fittings and hearing loss aftercare, hearing protection for noisy worksites and hobbies (including hunting and motorsports), and treatment for those with ringing in the ears (tinnitus).
Hearing loss affects 1 in 7 New Zealanders, and 50% of people over 65 years. Left untreated or unmanaged it can dramatically affect people’s lives, leading to isolation, frustration, and depression. Research shows that people with hearing loss are more likely to suffer from other chronic health conditions including early onset dementia, heart disease, and type 2 diabetes.
So, if you think your hearing is failing, call us on (03) 280-5549 or find your nearest hearing clinic.
