Coralieanne and her family are new arrivals to the Wanaka community which she says is a figurative and literal breath of fresh air after living in Auckland for eight years.
“We love it here,” she says. “It’s beautiful, and life is a lot less hectic. The people we’ve met have been so nice and always willing to lend a hand or impart some local knowledge.
Coralieanne is a qualified pharmacy technician, and prior to moving to Wanaka in January this year worked for the Auckland and Waitemata DHBs as second-in-charge in the Outreach Immunisation Service. She was also briefly a receptionist at Wanaka Medical before joining Audiology South.
“I’ve worked in various health fields and love learning and broadening my experience, so the opportunity to work for an audiology clinic appealed to me. Also, I’m excited to be a part of a brand-new clinic from its beginning, and to know that I could have a hand in its potential growth.
“Audiology South is totally focused on their clients and continuity of care. You get to see people more than once so can build a rapport and follow their hearing journey. I love meeting new people and having a chat, and if I can send clients out the door with smiles on their faces, then I’m doing my job right.
“The
Audiology South team is amazing; everyone has been so welcoming and lovely,” Coralieanne
says. “They are super helpful and knowledgeable and as soon as I met them I
could tell they really love what they do and care about the clients they see.”
