We’ve been busy reintroducing Unitron — a hearing aid brand by one of the giants in the industry, Sonova — and have just launched a new campaign with them. Our Senior Audiologist Nick Muir tells his us about his passion for the brand in this issue, so I’ll leave him to brag about its benefits. What I like is the 14-day free trial promotion, which is a great chance for new users to experience hearing aid technology and existing users to explore what the new technology might offer!
We’re on the road over the next few weeks. Crank Up at Edendale has just finished and was a great opportunity to catch up with new and existing clients in the thick of all things steam and engine related. From Wednesday we’ll be exhibiting at the Southern Field Days in Waimumu — we can’t wait. It’s been 4 years since the last big field day in the lower South, no thanks to Covid. Come see us for an on-site hearing check; information about hearing loss, hearing aids and hearing protection; and of course a drink (either hot or cold) and place to put your feet up for a sec.
We have a new clinician on board in Invercargill — Lei Domingo — who arrived just in time to fill the gap created when Bettina went on maternity leave. Welcome Lei.
Originally from the Philippines, Lei is trained in audiology and speech therapy and has worked in New Zealand for over 4 years. Lei comes to us with some great knowledge and clinical skills, so if you’re visiting our Invercargill clinic, be sure to say hi!
As always, we appreciate your feedback and welcome any content suggestions for our newsletter. Please email me at simon@audiologysouth.co.nz if you have any thoughts.
Meanwhile sit back, rest up and enjoy some summer reading!
