Holly has been chosen to train as a Hearing Dog for the Deaf. This picture was taken when she was 12 weeks old.
Audiology South is sponsoring Holly’s training, and the Caldwell family are helping to socialise and puppy raise her for the next few months before training begins.
Holly is now 7 months old. She will begin her formal training at around 8 months, and it usually takes 4 to 6 months to graduate as fully-qualified Hearing Dog.
Audiology South’s sponsorship helps to pay for Holly’s training, vet bills, food, leashes and sound equipment. It will also help with the costs of getting her settled into her new home once she is placed with a deaf person.
This is Saffron Caldwell with Holly. She and her brother Lucca are helping to raise the puppy.
