“Giving Back” to the community
Recently we took a day off ... not for rest and recreation, but to give back to the community.

This year our away-day activity supported the Halo Project, which promotes reforestation to improve catchments and waterways, and support bio diversity.
We donated $1000 to buy the plants, and then turned up at Long Beach on the Otago coastline to plant them. We were lucky on the day to have brilliant winter weather, and so spent a couple of hours helping the Halo team plant the very plants we had purchased – a selection of grasses, flax, Hoheria and other ribbonwoods.
Fun and lots of laughs were had by all and we got heaps of planting done.
