Season’s greetings readers

It’s hard to believe it’s that time of the year already, where did 2023 go to?!

Posted Monday December 11, 2023

Audiology South has had a busy year with two new clinics opening, one in Balclutha, the other Wānaka. We’ve loved bringing the Audiology South brand to these towns and being a part of the local community, and have also welcomed a number of new staff – so now there are almost 30 on our team.

This year’s innovation in hearing aid technology and products has been exciting, and no doubt there is a lot more to come in 2024! We’ve seen huge interest in Lyric — the completely invisible hearing aid solution — and have invested much in staff training for this specific device. We’re well aware of the increased competition growing in our sector and strive constantly to do better both in terms of customer service and the innovative products we retail. We do want to take the time to thank you all for your ongoing custom through 2023.

This issue we bring you a great story on how to read an audiogram, and provide a handy guide to hearing aid features for you to download as a PDF. And don't forget to take advantage of the latest Beltone technology — call 0800 547 836 or book your appointment online.

Our clinics will be closed from 2pm, Friday 22 December, so be sure to pop in before then and stock up on any hearing aid supplies you might need over the break.

Invercargill will reopen on Wednesday 3 January, Dunedin on Thursday 4 January, and all our other clinics reopen on Monday 8 January.

Meri Kirihimete everyone, have a wonderful festive season ahead and we look forward to seeing you in 2024 after a well-earned break.
